Malta short break with private Yacht tour

The Maltese archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino, as well as countless megaliths, medieval dungeons and atmospheric towns and villages. Meandering streets contain Renaissance cathedrals and Baroque palaces. Malta is the largest island; rural Gozo is next in size.

Malta was previously known as Melita, meaning the island of honey by the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Here you can find an astonishing array of things to discover. And wherever you go, the scenery and architecture provide a spectacular backdrop. The colours are striking, honey-coloured stone against the deepest of Mediterranean blues. Malta has been described as one big open-air museum. What makes it unique is that so much of the past is visible today. There are 365 churches in Malta, one for every day of the year. For the country’s bravery in the Second World War, Malta was awarded the George Cross by King George VI.

Popeye Village Malta has grown from its days as a Film Set of the 1980 Musical Production ‘Popeye’ into one of the major tourist attractions on the Maltese Islands filled with a number of colorful fun activities for all young and young at heart. Open all year round we guarantee an enjoyable visit to all of our guests. Ghajn Tuffieha Bay Malta is also known as Riviera Martinique or Riviera. It is located on the north western side of Malta very close to a tiny village called Manikata. In English ‘Għajn Tuffieħa’ means ‘Apple’s Eye’. This beach is in the middle of two other bays, Gnejna Bay and Golden Bay; another ‘must-see’ is St John’s Co-Cathedral; a Roman Catholic co-cathedral in Valletta, the capital of Malta, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. It was built by the Order of St. John between 1572 and 1577.
